You can choose to have your new home checked at certain stages throughout construction, such as: Frame (Pre Linings), Final Handover (PCI) and maintenance inspection (3 Month defect liability). The maintenance inspection is essential for identifying items for rectification before your builders warranties expire.

Yes, at Macro Building Solutions we are qualified and licenced builders, so we have the extensive knowledge to provide you with a fair and reasonable quotation for the rectifications costs of the issues that are mentioned within your inspection report.

Yes, we will conduct a detailed inspection of the barriers and boundaries of your swimming pool to ensure that it complies with the relevant Australian standards. Upon completion of your inspection report, and if there are no non-compliant items identified, then we will issue you with a safety certificate. If non-compliant items are found then your swimming pool will fail and a reinspection will be needed at an additional costs.

You do not have to have an independent inspector carry out this inspection. We help you with the self-assessment process. If you tell your local council that your pool is compliant, then all the Liability falls back onto yourself, however if we conduct the inspection and produce a safety certificate, then we take on the Liability and take that away from you, and provide you with the confidence and peace of mind in knowing that your swimming pool barriers are safe and compliant.

If your home is under construction, then we will liaise with your site supervisor to gain access. If you are looking for a pre purchase inspection then we will liaise with the agent in charge of the property. All you need to do is provide us with the details of your supervisor or agent and we will do the rest.

YES, we have a qualified pest inspector who carries out these inspections. This is usually conducted at the same time as your pre purchase building inspection. We can include this at an additional cost of $495.00

The fees listed on our website cover from Bowral and Dapto right up to Newcastle. We also cover from Newcastle to Coffs Harbour, additional fees will apply. We also cover other areas and interstate if requested, additional fees will apply.

This depends, you may be present during pre-purchase inspections if the agent or seller allows this. You must not ask questions while we are conducting the inspection, as we cannot be interrupted as this will provide you with the most thorough and detailed inspection. You may be present during New Construction inspections, however we cannot allow access on site due to OH&S regulations.
